Responsibilities & Skills:
Must perform the following duties;
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand regularly
- Scour pots, and pans and remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Also, keep records of quantities of food used in the cafeteria
- Good communication skills are needed
- Effective interpersonal & time management skills
- Use manual & electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
- Handle and store cleaning products
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
- Serve customers at counters/ buffet tables
- Clean kitchen surfaces i.e cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
- Expertise in operating ovens and electronic cash register
- Receive and store supplies in freezers, refrigerators, and other storage areas
- Moreover, wash, peel & cut vegetables and fruits
- Perform reliable and accurate work
- Able to wrap food items and properly assign portions where stored them
