Responsibilities & Skills:
To perform the following duties;
- Possessing powerline technician red seal certificates
- Must clear drug test before joining the job interview
- Having a valid driver’s license with driving skills
- Able to work in electrical power companies in rural areas
- Good communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills are required
- Troubleshoot & repair electrical distribution & transmission systems
- Maintain and install various electrical systems
- Climb ladders/operate hydraulic buckets
- Erect & maintain steel, wood/ concrete poles, towers & wires etc
- Also, ensure health and safety regulations are followed/ not
- Inspect & test overhead & underground power lines and cables
- Communicate with other workers while performing assigned duties
- Coordinate the preparation and completion of different work assignment
- Moreover, solder and insulate conductors and related wiring to connect power distribution
- Splice and spread transmission networks
