Qualification Required:
Must have registered apprenticeship certificate with good English spoken skills.
Experiences:
1 to less than 7 months.
Responsibilities & Skills:
Perform the following duties;
- Responsible for determining piping system requirements and pipe sizing
- Cut openings in walls & floors to accommodate pipe and its fittings
- Also, locate & mark positions for pipe connections and passage holes
- Ability to fix pipelines in walls and floors of the house
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills are required
- Test pipes for leaks using water & air pressure gauges
- Measure, thread, and bend pipes to the required size & shape
- Use of steel-toed safety boots & other important tools during duty hours
- Join pipes using clamps, bolts, cement/ soldering, brazing & welding equipment
- Moreover, repair & maintain domestic plumbing fixtures and systems
- Read drawings and blueprints to determine the layout of the plumbing system in a water supply network
- Manage waste & drainage system of the workplace
- Handling heavy loads and working under pressure to complete required targets
- Physically fit and perform accurate work in a given time
